There are so many broken hearts
So many lives are torn apart
Looking for something, looking for reason
Finding escape in all the wrong places
Getting battered and bruised, blinded and shaken
So many homes have broken down
Too many children's hopes fall to the ground
The homeless want freedom, and someone to feed them
But we just walk by and we pretend we don't see them
The broken need love and that love can't be broken
But this is the world we live in,a broken nation
People want love, but they don't know where it is
All we can do is watch the pieces fall apart
And hope for a better tomorrow
